Key Features

High Capacity & Long Distance

Designed for bulk material transport over distances from tens of meters to several kilometers with capacities up to 2,000 tons per hour.

Adaptable to Site Conditions

Horizontal, inclined, curved, and combined configurations available. We design around your facility layout, headroom, and terrain.

Multi-Material Handling

Suitable for coal, ore, limestone, clinker, grain, wood chips, chemicals, and a wide range of bulk granular and lump materials.

Dust & Spill Control

Optional enclosed covers, skirt boards, belt cleaners, and dust suppression systems for environmentally compliant operation.

Low Maintenance Design

Standardized components (idlers, pulleys, drives) for easy spare parts sourcing. Self-aligning idlers reduce belt tracking issues.

Smart Monitoring (Optional)

Belt misalignment switches, speed monitors, rip detection, and bearing temperature sensors for predictive maintenance.

Typical Applications

Thermal Power Plants

Coal handling from stockyard to boiler bunkers; ash handling from precipitators to silos.

Cement Plants

Limestone, clay, gypsum, clinker, and cement transport between crushing, grinding, and packing stages.

Mining & Quarries

Overland conveyors for ore, overburden, and aggregates from mine face to processing plant or stockpile.

Ports & Terminals

Ship loading and unloading conveyor systems for grain, coal, iron ore, and fertilizer bulk terminals.

Chemical & Fertilizer

Corrosion-resistant belt options for urea, phosphate, sulfur, and other chemical bulk materials.

Biomass & Waste-to-Energy

Fuel handling conveyors for wood chips, rice husk, RDF (refuse-derived fuel), and agricultural residues.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a belt conveyor and what is it used for?

A belt conveyor uses a continuous moving belt to transport bulk materials over long distances at high capacity. It is widely used for coal, ore, aggregates, cement, grain, and other free-flowing solids in mining, power, port, and cement industries.

What belt widths and capacities are available?

Belt widths range from 500 to 2000 mm, with capacities from 45 to 2,000 t/h depending on belt speed (0.8-5.0 m/s) and material. Larger widths and speeds deliver higher throughput.

What is the maximum inclination for a belt conveyor?

Standard troughed belt conveyors handle inclinations up to about 18 degrees. With chevron (patterned) belts, the angle can reach up to 28 degrees for loose, non-slip materials.

What belt and frame materials are offered?

Belts include rubber (EP/NN/ST), PVC, PU, and heat-, oil-, or flame-resistant grades. Frames are carbon steel as standard, with stainless steel optional for food and chemical applications.

How does a belt conveyor compare to a chain or screw conveyor?

Belt conveyors are best for long-distance, high-speed transport of low-abrasive bulk solids. Chain and screw conveyors are better for sealed, dust-tight handling, multiple inlets and outlets, and abrasive or hazardous materials.
